It's a c-store now, but the building is a mid-late 60's (maybe early 70's)
style Shell station at Williamsville, IL.
It has the newer 80's signage, but retains its original profile overall.

An old Shell sign. A clear case of get them when you see them.
This sign is gone now, within the past week (Jan 29, 2003).
It was at the interchange of I-4 and Branch Forbes Rd near Plant City, FL.
The sign was probably placed in the 1970's when it was a service
station, it was there in the 1980's when the old service bays had become
a food mart with gas pumps (I had a friend who lived down the street at
the time) and remained thru the 90's, when a new multipumper and food
mart were built in the old station's parking area. It was finally
removed last week, months after the original station was finally razed
to make way for additional parking.
