C.O.R. (Australia) Photos

C.O.R. stands for Commonwealth Oil Refineries. It was started in 1922.
The Australian Government sold its share to B.P. in 1954.
The brand survived until around 1960.

An old COR sign in Goroke, Victoria in 1999. Surprised to find the COR sign,
as they were replaced by BP in the early 1960s.

Somewhat grainy but readable photoscan of a BP/COR in
Cheltenham, NSW in the late 1950s. This garage is now
a house with a high wall fence across the front.
