Alon station at Allsups, 700 N. Main, Seymour, TX. Taken July 5, 2012 by David Aldred
Our first Alon station on gassigns.org. More will be coming, as more and more Fina stations are rebranded to Alon. Alon has been marketing under the Fina brand since around 2000. When Alon bought the Big Spring, TX Fina refinery and over 1700 Fina locations from Total S.A. of France in 2000, they also gained the rights to the Fina name for a number of years. Now that the time is up, they made the decision to re-brand the Fina stations with their own name. They kept the general shape and colors of the Fina logo for brand recognition. I'm not sure what will happen to the Fina name now, but it can't be used by Alon.

This station is at an Allsup's convenience store in Seymour, Texas at 700 North Main and E. California St. According to the photographer, David Aldred, this location was selling Bell gasoline in the 1980s-1990s, then possibly switched to Fina for a while before switching to Exxon, which is what they were selling prior to converting to Alon.
